Mother’s Day Makeup Look
#MOMSDAY2016
Oh motherhood! I still cannot believe I am actually a mom!
Anyway, how was your Mother’s Day celebration? I hope it went well!
As for me, nothing fancy but we celebrated the occasion at a coffee shop with my husband and our little one.
My tummy was looking for something sugary to eat so I ordered a slice of carrot cake.
Now, onto my makeup….

Mother’s Day Makeup Look
To be honest, I’ve been too lazy to wear anything on my skin except for the skin care for the last few weeks.
This super exaggerated humidity here in Manila is unacceptable!
Gladly, I bought a new eyeshadow palette called Sleek MakeUP i-Divine in Ultra Mattes V2 Darks, which suddenly made my makeup spirit uplifted and inspired!
Check out the shades I used for this eye look!

LORAC PRO: Nude, Pewter; Sleek Makeup in V2 Darks: Flesh, Maple, Paper Bag
Can you actually tell that I am wearing kinda red/brown eyeshadows here? I was a little bit scared when I saw Maple on my eyelid. I was like, “WHAT!? Is this red?”
I know red eyeshadows were trending later last year and I cannot believe I was actually doing this eye makeup.
But it wasn’t as scary as I thought!
Maple was flat matte so I added Pewter (from the LORAC PRO palette) on top of it to make it warmer. Pewter is so soft to touch and it has tiny amount of sparkles, which I thought it made this look more interesting. I applied it mostly on the middle lid and gradually blended it out.
Maple is also a perfect color for spring/fall weather!

With the silly kid
I rarely post my daughter’s photos on my blog because I would like to keep her life (plus my personal life) private but just thought I would share one picture. She’s been doing funny faces lately and she loves accessories!
How are you? I hope you are doing just fine! Until next time!
